Both parties would go through a heavily crowded city area with the goal of delivering medical kits to their targets.
The end result was obvious: the DJI Phantom 3 carrying the medical kit arrived at a faster, more efficient rate than the standard ambulance. Without having to rely on roads and not having to deal with traffic, the flying drone arrives at the patient’s area at 210 seconds to the ambulance’s 300 seconds.
With a faster arrival time, drones are sure to be a more staple component in hospitals globally in the next decade.
