Construction work can be very tedious and full of errors if given to the wrong hands. While professionals do exist, they cannot be everywhere at once. For the most part, a majority of construction sites all over the globe have less than capable workers managing them. This leads to longer working periods as well as errors along the way. A new drone called the Sitewasp hopes to eliminate this problem once and for all. Using technology at its side, it plans to eradicate human error in the workplace.
The Sitewasp drone is an interesting new creation with a lot of potential. Built with monitoring and surveillance in mind, the Sitewasp aims to revolutionize the construction world. With the drone on site, it hopes to replace supervisors completely. This does not mean that the drone will replace any manpower. It means the supervisor can be elsewhere while still having eyes on the target location. Being able to accumulate data from a project swiftly and without errors is also an added incentive.
It has an excellent scanning system complemented with high definition cameras. Combined with its flight capabilities, it can scan a construction site and provide data to its clients faster than any human supervisor can. Not only is this a more efficient way to handle the day-to-day work, it also has a smaller margin of error. Human error would not be a factor, and with advanced scanning technology pulling the weight, errors are few and far between.
Flight and Reach
The flight capabilities make it possible for the Sitewasp to fly overhead instead of walking around the site on foot. This gives the drone a bird’s eye view of the scene – a far superior view that can provide more information at a shorter timeframe. It also means the Sitewasp can go to hard-to-reach places without any difficulty. Difficulties, which, one may encounter if a supervisor plans to go there manually.
